This one would make a great breakfast after a morning run and can be adapted to suit your personal preferences. The recipe on the tailwind website calls for the Vanilla Tailwind Recovery Mix but we think you could use any flavour you like.

Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup of Oats
  • 1 Cup of water (you could also use milk)
  • 1 Scoop of Recovery Mix
  • Sliced Almonds (or your preferred nuts)
  • Dates (or whichever fruit you prefer)
  • 1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • Cinnamon (to taste)

Method:

This one is really simple to make. Just mix everything together in a bowl and microwave for 1 minute. You may prefer to add any fresh fruit after microwaving.
