Heritage is more than our history and products. It’s about the culture, people and country that have shaped Suunto through the decades and made it become what it is today. Evolution is natural, yet some things remain an integral part of our brand and DNA; accuracy, robustness, reliability, design and being Finnish to the core.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Get the most out of your Suunto
WHAT IS BONE CONDUCTION TECHNOLOGY?
Bone conduction technology transmits sound through vibrations directly to the inner ear via the cheekbones or jawbone, leaving your ear canals open. This allows you to hear audio while remaining aware of your surroundings.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUUNTO SONIC AND SUUNTO WING
Suunto Sonic is designed for lightweight performance with a minimal, ergonomic build and up to 10 hours of playback. Suunto Wing includes additional features like LED safety lights, motion control via head gestures, and an extended battery life with a portable powerbank for up to 30 hours of total playback.
CAN I USE THEM FOR RUNNING, CYCLING, OR OTHER SPORTS?
Absolutely. Both models are ideal for endurance activities. Their open-ear design helps maintain situational awareness, and the secure fit ensures they stay in place during high-impact movement.
HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST?
Suunto Sonic offers up to 10 hours of playback on a full charge. Suunto Wing also provides 10 hours, with an additional 20 hours from the included powerbank. Both models support quick charging: a 5–10-minute charge gives several hours of use.
DO THESE HEADPHONES BLOCK OUT ENVIRONMENTAL NOISE?
No. They are intentionally designed to keep your ears open so you can stay alert to your surroundings, which is especially useful for outdoor and urban activities.
