Carbs Fuel was born out of a simple question: why is proper fuelling for endurance sports so complicated and expensive? Founder Gabe Multer, a lifelong endurance athlete, knew that hitting the recommended 90–120 grams of carbs per hour was out of reach for most everyday athletes — not just logistically, but financially too. Together with childhood friend and PhD candidate Aaron Gouw, he set out to change that.

Why does each Carbs Fuel gel contain 50 grams of carbohydrates?
Most energy gels only offer 20–25 grams, which makes hitting the recommended 90–120g/hour target difficult without taking several. We formulated our gel with 50 grams of carbs to make it easier, cheaper, and more practical for athletes to fuel properly — especially during long sessions or races.
Is Carbs Fuel suitable for sensitive stomachs?
Yes. Our formula uses a 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio and contains no preservatives, gelling agents, or unnecessary fillers. This helps ensure fast absorption and smooth digestion, even at higher carb loads, so you can fuel without discomfort.
Are Carbs Fuel products vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. All Carbs Fuel products are 100% vegan and gluten-free, making them suitable for plant-based and gluten-sensitive athletes.
