Our original softshell, short peak VÅGA was a running cap designed to be functional on the fells of Cumbria but has since proved to be a great all-rounder, used by many all over the world.
As we began to share our journey online, selling caps to local trail and fell runners organically grew to road runners, hikers, climbers and outdoor enthusiasts further afield. We refer to our community as team VÅGA.
As team VÅGA we feel that despite having some elite athletes among us, our common ground is our spirit. It is more about why, rather than how fast, how long or how high. At VÅGA we dare, we venture and we risk.
At VÅGA, we strive to create great new products for those who have put their trust in us, as well as those we will reach in the future. We strive to help grow the community of team VÅGA and what it stands for and ensure that all our energy is invested in ideas and results that benefit all those who engage with VÅGA and leave a positive impact on the environment.

Can I put my product in the washing machine?
Our caps and beanies are designed to be machine washed at 30 degrees and dry quickly afterwards. Please do not tumble dry.
Are Våga's one size fits all?
All our Våga's are adjustable at the back and have been tested on a range of head shapes and sizes to ensure they fit. Adjustable Circumference - 52cm / 62cm.
Is Våga a carbon neutral company?
Våga is a carbon positive company through the work we do with Tred Earth.
Does Våga support any good causes?
Våga has a formal agreement with Mind charity where we donate a percentage of every product sold to the work that they do.
