Those that know me laugh at my benchmark for what I discern to be ‘cold water’

My first ‘A’ race of the 2021 season and I’ve been waiting six long months for it to arrive.

Someone once told me that the hardest part of a race is the hours, weeks, months of training that you log before you even get to the start.

I originally booked this race in August 2019 and after two cancellations due to Covid, one of which just 6 days before the race in November last year, I was excited to finally toe the start line!
