About KMC NRG Gel Training Pack

The five NRG gels use a 2:1 blend of maltodextrin and fructose to provide carbohydrate during exercise. The GEL X is made for higher fuelling targets, with 45g of carbohydrate in each 70g gel and a 1:0.8 maltodextrin-to-fructose ratio.

The pack includes both flavoured options and GEL X’s neutral flavour, which has a light cooling sensation. The NRG gels include electrolytes and B vitamins, while GEL X provides 200mg of sodium and 500mg of key electrolytes. All six gels are vegan, gluten free and Informed Sport tested.

How does it work

The NRG gels combine maltodextrin and fructose in a 2:1 ratio. These carbohydrate sources use different absorption pathways, helping deliver energy during exercise. The NRG formula also includes electrolytes and B vitamins to support hydration and normal energy metabolism.

GEL X provides 45g of carbohydrate from maltodextrin and fructose in a 1:0.8 ratio. It also contains 200mg of sodium and 500mg of key electrolytes. Its neutral flavour and light cooling sensation offer a different option for longer sessions, particularly if you want to vary the flavours in your fuelling plan.
