Description

The glove’s thermal properties help maintain hand warmth without compromising dexterity, making it a reliable choice for cold-weather training or commuting.

This glove goes beyond simple warmth. It features smart fingertip slits on the thumb and forefinger to give you better grip and touch, ideal for accessing your phone or keys without removing the glove. The soft towelling thumb is perfect for wiping away sweat during effort, while the smart-tip feature allows you to use touchscreens easily on the go.

Functionality meets performance with moisture-wicking, fast-drying fabric that keeps your hands dry even during high-intensity sessions. A secure palm grip provides extra control, whether you’re holding a bottle, a phone, or handlebars, making this glove a smart pick for runners, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Made from a soft, stretchy blend of polyester and elastane, these gloves offer a snug, comfortable fit that won’t restrict movement. With thoughtful details and winter-ready performance, they’re an essential layer for keeping your hands protected and active in cold weather.

How does it work

These gloves combine protective, breathable fabrics to create a balanced glove for winter use. The back of the hand features windproof and water-resistant materials to shield against chill and light rain. The palm side remains lightweight and thermally lined for warmth without bulk. Integrated smart-tip technology means you can interact with your phone or watch without exposing your skin, while the finger slits improve tactile control.

Moisture is managed with fast-wicking fibres that draw sweat away from the skin, and the quick-drying design ensures long-lasting comfort. Additional features like the soft towelling thumb and grip-enhanced palm make it a glove built for movement, not just warmth.

About Ronhill

Dr Ron Hill MBE founded the brand in September 1970, five months after becoming the first Briton to win the Boston Marathon in a record time of 2:10:30. His sole purpose: to produce kit that kept him winning.

Dr Ron gained a PhD in Textile Chemistry, from the University of Manchester and through alchemy and his art as a runner, began to rethink the fly-by-night running kit of the time. After winning the Commonwealth Games in 1970 he developed the ‘side-split short’ which famously become the Freedom Short and the Mesh Vest - both having accompanied him to his greatest victories on the road.

Ronhill is proud of our founder and the heritage he has allowed. His lifelong passion of running and improvement is shared within the team and products we produce today. With 50 years of retrospect, Ronhill has benefited from the experiential learning and change that has occurred within running – from its sporting roots, to a lifestyle and universal culture.

Our purpose now is to make a better future for today’s runner by sustainably developing the elements of our past.
