Squirrel's Saddle Butter is the world's best all-natural cycling salve. This slick vegan-friendly blend includes peppermint oil, tea tree oil & zinc oxide. We added these ingredients specifically for cyclists! The tea tree oil kills certain bacteria and fungi, the zinc oxide lowers skin inflammation associated with rashes and irritation while preventing bacterial infections, and the peppermint oil adds a welcome scent to nether regions.
Directions Apply directly to skin or shorts to prevent saddle sores and chafing. The stick is best used in temperatures below 100℉.

What's in your products?
Only all-natural ingredients. Our original blend includes just four ingredients: coconut oil, cocoa butter, beeswax and vitamin E oil. Our other products use ingredients like kokum butter, candelilla wax, peppermint oil, tea tree oil, cayenne peppers, chiltepin peppers and arnica flowers.
What are your products for?
Our products are used to promote skin health. They are used to prevent blisters and chafing during activity, and to restore and repair dry skin.
What makes your products better than others?
We call that the Squirrel's difference. Read about that difference here.
What's the best container for colder temperatures?
As an all-natural product, the consistency of our salve changes with the temperature. The most versatile container for both extreme cold and moderate heat is the stick. If you are racing or training in colder temperatures, we suggest using our anti-chafe stick. Our sticks are the best application choice for temperatures below freezing up to around 95°F.
What's the best container for warmer temperatures?
As an all-natural product, the consistency of our salve changes with the temperature. The most versatile container for both extreme cold and moderate heat is the anti-chafe stick. Our anti-chafe tubs are best used in warmer temperatures. Our tub blend becomes firmer in temperatures below 65°F but it's perfect for warmer temperatures, as the salve softens. However, the tub blend can still be used in cold temperatures. If the product hardens, simply twist off the top, squeeze the sides of the tub together, and pop the salve, now in puck form, into your hand. You can use the puck like a bar of soap where needed
Can you use SNB on your feet?
Yes. Our anti-chafe salves also prevent blisters. By putting SNB on your feet, you'll stay blister free throughout the day. Plus, we have a foot-specific blend called Happie Toes. We add tea tree and peppermint oils that help keep your feet smooth and free of fissure
What's the difference between SNB and Vegan SNB?
We use beeswax in our original SNB blend. In our vegan blend, we replace the beeswax with candelilla wax, which is derived from the leaves of a bush native to the southwest USA.
Do your products stain clothes?
As an oil-based product, there are some fabrics that may stain when they come into repeated and close contact with our product. But in our two-plus years of selling products, we have only heard of a few such instances. If a stain does occur, we recommend that you treat the affected area with a spray before putting the item in the laundry machine.
